Established in 2002, the College offers top class education in Engineering, Business Administration and Computer Applications at UG, PG and Research levels. It has well qualified staff, state of the art laboratories and all facilities. Presently about 2300 students are studying in the College.
The College provides for a wide variety of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities which give a head-start to students, developing their personality and imparting skills of decision-making and leadership. Campus Placement Department assists student’s secure good jobs.
Seven batches have passed out of the College since its inception in 2002. SJEC has recorded 98.27%, 94.32%, 94.59%, 93.23%, 98.08%, 96.98%, 95.43% passes. 341 students were placed through Campus placement.
Central Library
Central library is one of the central support services of SJEC, Mangalore. The library is an essential component of the Institute's outstanding technical education and research. It is a most lively place on the campus providing a safe, comfortable and pleasant environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge and promotes discovery and scholarship. The mission of the library is to serve as a user friendly resource centre by incorporating latest technology.
The Library has a collection of over 30000 publications which include books, bound volumes of journals, reports and Government publications, covering a wide variety of subjects.It has a rich collection of about 158 technical journals. It has a collection of 2500 CD-ROMS on books and journals. It has access to over 453 journals in full text, in e-form from INDEST-AICTE Consortium. Library is also an active member of DELNET.
